Georgia 2026 expedition
A private-pilot expedition from Luxembourg to Georgia, flown by a fleet of small aircraft. I built the platform behind it — crews register and pay online, organisers approve each step, and the civil aviation documents every crew needs are generated automatically as PDFs.

The Luxembourg to Georgia expedition is a pilot-led journey of more than 4,000 nautical miles across Europe, flown by private crews in small aircraft. Organising it means registrations, payments and paperwork for every crew, approved by more than one aviation authority.
What I built
- Crew registration with magic-link sign-in, and payment and commitment tracking
- An admin area with two-factor sign-in and trusted devices for multiple organisers
- A multi-authority approval workflow
- Automated generation of the civil aviation authority documents each crew needs, as PDFs
- Next.js and TypeScript on PostgreSQL, with encrypted off-host backups and EU-region error monitoring
The result
A single platform that coordinated 26 crews, from first registration to the documents they flew with.
